women of hard rock music
Hard Rock Women
Sure, males seem to dominate the hard rock and metal music scene, but women can rock just as hard - if not harder! Female rockers have made such important contributions to the world of music, that the Rock and Roll Hall of fame even had an exhibit called Women Who Rock: Vision, Passion, Power which was on display from May 13, 2011 - February 26, 2012.
Never underestimate the power of a woman! Here's an informational source of some of the women of rock and roll.
Aaron, Lee
Canadian hard rock singer and songwriter Lee Aaron has been rockin' out since 1980. Her hits include the songs "Metal Queen", "Whatcha Do to My Body", and "Sex with Love". These days, she's been playing both rock and jazz shows.

Benatar, Pat
I once won a ticket to a show of hers at the Sports Arena in San Diego. Won. Ticket. ONE ticket. I ended up not going, and that's something I regret to this day. That was during the Get Nervous tour and I'm sure I missed an incredible show. Years later I was able to finally catch her in concert, and that was during her jazz phase.
